"Lucky 7" Show in Review - A quick glimpse at our last event!

On Saturday, December 6, Create:Fixate celebrated 7 years of art and music.  "Lucky 7" is being considered an all time favorite! The event featured an impressive array of art work from a a handful of  Create:Fixate's favorite staple artists along with a few new faces presenting the usual mix media exhibitions C:F is known for. The night started to heat up when patrons were tittilated by live tango dancing from Mitra Martin and Stefan Fabry of Tango Mar. The music grooved all night long with a live performance by Samuel Markus, and DJs Nalepa, Chad Rock, and Kenneth Graham mixing it up on the decks.

The outside courtyard was glowing with joy with a the "1000 Watt Smile" installation created by  the mastermind Ted Werth, with light programming by Mads Christensen and additional fabrication by Tomas Verde.  Pushing visual angles, "The Orb" was a live video mixing installation constructed by VJ Fader. Of course live painting was in the mix by Michael Pukac and Max Neutra, not-so-dry paintings were being claimed as quickly as they were created!

Patrons hunted the galleries for their “Best in Show” and sampled the stylish wares of vendors like Yeva Arts, Simone Schulz Designs, and De Le Luna Designs.  The night was complete with a handful of Santacon Santas warming us up for the holiday season. All in a good night at Create:Fixate.  Make sure to join us in the new year  when the magic happens all over again.
