Oh My Gauze! Complete Refurbishing and Faux Finish

 

 About the Project

Michael Pukac and Company refurbished the entire store Oh My Gauze! including everything from ceiling to floor.

Projects that were done reflected a Spanish and rustic feel. The texturized stone element and the walls and floral design helped to create the store's unique atmosphere.


  The four dressing rooms took on a soft colorized wash with a decorative leaf finish to frame the wall space. The doors, baseboards, and crowns were antiqued to continue the rustic essence.
  More of the decorative elements of the store as well as architectural features handmade and designed.
  The cement floor was given an elaborate yet durable color wash. The floor has an inner glow that adds to the lush atmosphere.
  The plain white ceiling and walls were completely re-done to reflect an antique wood ceiling held up by aged wooden beams. The walls were given a texturized Spanish plaster with hand-painted decorative elements throughout the store.
 

The Oh My Gauze! sign is the only hand-painted sign on St. Armand's Circle, Sarasota, FL. The mural truly reflects the store's flair and originality.
