"Curio Garden" is one of the last stages of a ficticious tree in its life cycle. The tree is a continuing theme that started as a stump in earlier series of paintings and can be similarily seen in "The Last Tree", "The Swamp", "Tree of Birds", "Four of Me in the Swamp", and "Harvest", among others.
